About Chiron
Established at the University of Michigan in the winter of 2024, CHC was born out of a desire from five pre-medical students who decided an education in the life sciences simply wasn't enough preparation for today's careers in medicine.
With the rise of staffing shortages, private practice shutdown, occupational burnout, and the need for advancing health equity around the world, CHC's founders saw a need to educate and transform the world of healthcare strategy and its goals from the ground up — and what better place to do it than at the very start of it all: undergraduate education.
Proud to be Michigan Wolverines, the founders of Chiron embrace the Michigan spirit every day through multidisciplinary peer education, entrepreneurship, and civil service.
Built by students who saw that a life sciences education alone wasn't enough — and that healthcare needs strategic thinkers as much as clinicians.
Our members span over 30 different majors and minors, bringing a multidisciplinary lens to every project and problem we tackle.
